Mitchell Anderson is one of the few "out" gay actors in Hollywood. He has played heterosexual, as well as homosexual, characters. He wrote an article, "Out in Hollywood," which you can read here or from the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation's site from which it originated.
